About the Founder - Mike Monyak

Hi, my name is Mike Monyak owner of Mr Happy House. I would like to take a moment to thank you for visiting my web site, and perhaps invite me to your home to give you an estimate!  The Woodlands, Conroe, Cypress, Tomball, Magnolia, Spring and Houston are all in my service areas, and my aim is to please you with value and price that meets your expectation in Roofing and Home Improvements. We are Different from hiring some other company. I supervise all my jobs, big or small. Whether it’s a pressure washing job or a complete re-roof, my customers come first. You can expect the job to be beyond local standards! The difference between hiring us to work on your home and a handy man is that I don’t try to do everything myself. I have all the right help many who have been with Mr Happy House for 15 or 20 years or more. Another good reason to hire Mr. Happy House is because just as the name says…

I am here to make you happy with your house again. If you are moving out of The Woodlands or surrounding areas, your house can be made market ready, or if you are moving into the area, I would love to be your local area contractor. I get many calls for interior repainting as well as exterior house painting. Big or small, one call does it all. I am a Member of the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating.

Go to the link on my home page and check it out! I am a graduate of the Greater Houston Builders Association Design Build program. If you can conceive it, I can design and build it.

When I was an active member of St Ignatius a thought occurred to me one Sunday that I should return all the goodness that God has brought me by refinishing the outside doors affected by the sun.

I had a paint crew there all week chemically stripping, sanding, prepping for staining and staining and varnishing the doors to give the right appearance to my house of worship, and I would like to think Jesus made me a believer and put it in my mind to do it without anything in return. Even the pastor offered to pay me to which I commented “It was the least I could do!”

Father Norbit asked me to come by the next day to ask me to look at some projects for the church. I charged only a nominal price based on a small profit margin. The projects turned out to be their 10 year anniversary.

I was glad to be part of it.
