"While preparing to do some upgrades to the exterior of our house we found several areas along the roof line that required major repairs. Since the original contractor we were using was not able to handle the repairs, we contracted Mr. Happy House, Mike Monyak, who was able to immediately meet with us and assess our needs while providing a work estimate during the initial site visit. What I really liked about Mike is his thoroughness of seeing where the real issues existed and providing sound recommendations. He was excellent at utilizing input from his crew foremen in providing efficient/economical solutions and recommendations. I could tell from the very beginning that Mike’s foremen had the experience and expertise to do the work properly. In the end we elected to replace all soffit and fascia boards and do a re-paint of the exterior updating the entire look of the house. I also decided to move the gutter replacement from the original contractor and give it to Mike as well. The gutter product provided by Mr. Happy House was superior to what we were originally going to install. During the entire installation Mike and his crews made sure they addressed any issues they saw instead of just covering it up. This included two additional repairs to the roof as well as addressing some poor construction practices utilized during the initial build of the house. All in all, the entire scope of soffit/fascia board replacement, roof repairs and enhancements, painting, and gutters was completed within the schedule and cost estimates provided. Mike was personally on site each day providing guidance to the work crews and ensuring customer satisfaction. Mike is personally committed to doing the job the “right way”. In the future when we have any improvements and/or major maintenance work required on our house, Mr. Happy House and Mike will be who we will call."
